Sock Hop Homicide Murder Mystery- Matinee

February 5 @ 2:30 PM 4:30 PM

SOCK HOP HOMICIDE is set in 1957 George Rydell High School, home of the Fighting Camels! Everyone is excited because National Bandstand hosted by Johnny Fontaine, the slickest McSlickster around, will be broadcast tonight live from GRHS. Principal Ina Paddleu has put Orville Dingleberry and Noreen Wallaflower in charge of planning the sock hop, and she has invited many GRHS alumni to the big event including Patrick Swanky, Lavernia and Shirleen, and Elliott Nesquick. Unfortunately, a damper is put on the festivities when (spoiler alert) there is a murder! But don’t worry . . . Detective Jack Hammer and his assistant Merrilyn Monroe arrive just in time to figure out “whodunit.”

Adding to the evening’s fun, several audience members will be asked to play part of some of the distinguished GRHS alumni who have been invited to attend the sock hop. They will all be given props and/or costume pieces as they take on the roles of Pelvis Presley, Nancy Drew-it-up and others.

Before the murder is solved, guests will be able to submit their guess for “whodunit.”

After Act 1, each audience member will be served a tasty, individual charcuterie tray that will have dried sausage, cheeses, fruit, crackers, fondue, and grilled Belgian sausage. After Act 2, dessert – a delicious cupcake decorated in the school colors – will be served. Tea/water will also be served.

Guests are welcome to enjoy beer, wine, and setups which must be purchased at the venue.

Reserved seating is available only for anyone who purchases a minimum of six (6) tickets. Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sock-hop-homicide-matinee-performance-tickets-258836455807
